Much ado was made Tuesday when, first Wikileaks’ Julian Assange “rick-rolled” the world hinting at a big Clinton document dump; and then 12 hours later Russian hacker “Guccifer 2.0” indeed dumped over a gigabyte of purloined Clinton Foundation documents. Demand was so high, it actually broke the UploadFiles website! However, after buying a subscription and a number of interrupted downloads, we succeeded. Friday was a big day, as both DC Leaks and WikiLeaks dumped, the latter with a second tranche this morning. And then came the hard work so you don’t have to do it, connecting the dots to Starkey Hearing Foundation and Chez Austin.
- Austin (Guccifer 2.0 only);
As you can imagine, poring through the various spreadsheets, PDF’s, and other various documents was quite tedious, especially the Guccifer 2.0 documents. Although Guccifer 2.0 didn’t yield any hits,
and DCLeaks is offline, WikiLeaks indeed did have hits: Four rather innocuous e-mails related to the 2014 & `15 Starkey Foundation galas.
Update 2 (1:00 am Thursday 10/13/2016): The third & fourth WikiLeak tranches were released in the last few hours; and still the same four innocuous “hits.”
